Screencast of the Week!

A screencast is an audio/visual demonstration that can be viewed over the internet. Bolinas Road Creative produced several screencasts for the book Word 2007 The Missing Manual (O'Reilly Media/Pogue Press). We're honored that the folks who make the screencast software, TechSmith, chose one of our screencasts as the Screencast of the Week.

Inteactive CD-ROM
and Web Portfolio

Giacomini & Sons, Fine Woodworking needed a promotion CD-ROM to mail to clients. Using Flash animation, Bolinas Road Creative developed a presentation CD-ROM that works with PCs, Macs and also serves as a web-based portfolio.

Multimedia CD-ROM

California Redwood Association needed a multi-media CD-ROM that showed the wide variety of outdoor projects that could be built with redwood. Using the Association's existing product literature and extensive photo library, we created this CD-ROM to show projects, product literature, construction tips and a complete gallery of beautiful, creative redwood projects.

The CD-ROM in a clear, self-mailing case was distributed by post, by hand and at home and garden shows.

Interactive Product Locator

Simpson Timber Company wanted to lead customers to their wholesale distributors in different parts of the country. Instead of creating a boring list of companies, we created an interactive map that provides the information quickly and in style.

Animated Logo

Dorian Consulting, a company that specializes in point-of-purchase data processing, came to Bolinas Road Creative for a web site. They also needed a logo that reflected the technical nature of their business and the smooth flow of transactions that are possible in a well-managed POS environment. The animated dorianPOS logo reflects those qualities.

Animated Web Ad

Pagliacco Turning & Milling advertises in magazines to promote their specialty wood products such as porch posts, balusters and custom wood turning. As a result of their print advertising, they had an opportunity place ads on web sites. Bolinas Road Creative developed animated web ads in two sizes.
