Lottie Ballou Costume Rentals in Benicia, California had been in business for nearly 20 years. While they had a strong following in the San Francisco Bay Area, they had never developed a consistent graphic identity. Redwood Lumber & Supply
Company, LLC, is a lumber wholesale company. Though they had been in
business for many years, they didn't have a corporate logo. This
image, combines their very long name with a photographic image. It
communicates the classic beauty of their products and
we used it to provide a consistent company identity for all the pages
on their website.

Dorian Consulting, a company that specializes
in point-of-purchase data processing, came to Bolinas Road Creative for
a website. They also needed a logo that reflected the technical nature
of their business and the smooth flow of transactions that are possible
in a well-managed point-of-sale (POS) environment. The animated dorianPOS logo
reflects those qualities.

The California Redwood Association is
a trade association for the redwood lumber industry. The association
needed to create a generic identity for redwood that conveyed the properties
sought after by consumers. The simple word Redwood, used in a consistent
typeface is accompanied by a series of tag lines emphasizing the best selling qualities
of redwood. This identity element is used on the website and in print
advertising.
